New Year's Resolution

100 push-ups a day

I fell behind. = I got behind. = I’m behind schedule.

Today I caught up.

Today I did 240 push-ups, so I’m going to feel that tomorrow.

A: That guy is really drunk.
B: Yep. He’s gonna feel that tomorrow.

My resolution is: I'm going to exercise this year!
—> Am I going to exerise this year?

Many resolutions involve giving up a vice.

a vice = a bad habit

I’m going to change my life. = I’m going to turn over a new leaf.

Out with the old, in with the new.

I want to make a clean break.
I want to fresh start.

Back to the drawing board. = Let’s start from the beginning.

Let’s go back to square one.

Do your best to keep your resolution.

Do your best not to break your resolution.

Do your best to stick to your resolution.

He has stick-to-it-tiveness.
