Classic pattern: It’s ~ out.

7. It’s cold. < It’s freezing.
8. It’s as cold as hell out!
It’s colder than a witch’s teat. 
It’s colder than a witch’s tit. 
It’s colder than a witch’s kiss.

a tit = a vulgar word for breast
a teat = a nipple 乳首

9. It’s freezing.
10. It’s so cold I can’t feel my face/fingers/toes.

A blizzard is coming.

a flood: My whole street flood. I couldn't even leave my house.

= Winter suddenly came.
